Benchmark bolsters commercial team with three new additions to strengthen customer engagement

Benchmark strengthens its support for salmon products by increasing the commercial team by three additional people. This follows the previously announced promotion and reorganization of the commercial team.

From 1 June, current employees Lene Stokka, Catrine Smørås, and Ruben Helmersen Johansen, will all join the commercial team.

This is a planned strategic initiative to further strengthen the team to focus on customer communications and follow-up –says our new Commercial Director Kate F. Stenerud.

Since 2021, Stokka and Smørås have worked in the technical services department for health as fish health specialists, and have been assisting customers to deliver successful sea lice management strategies, providing guidance throughout each stage of the treatment process. It was therefore natural that they continue this work through the commercial team, thus strengthening the team with their knowledge and experience. Stokka and Smørås will report to Preben Matre the Commercial Lead, Health. This change will also contribute to closer follow-up with our customers to ensure best practices and optimal use of our medicines.

From trainee to a permanent employee in Benchmark Genetics

Ruben Johansen has been employed as a trainee in the marketing department since August 2022, and will now transition to Sales and Technical Associate. He will join the commercial team and report to the Commercial Lead, Genetics, Thommy Holmvåg. Ruben will primarily work in the southern region and be part of the team that collaborates closely with our customers to ensure best practices and effective communication from egg input to new tender processes.
