The Hafnir site, a former cod farming station, has been transformed into a lumpfish hatchery and expanded since the takeover in 2015. The site is located in Reykjanes, at the southwest coast.
The farm is designed to produce up to 3 million of 20-30-gram lumpfish. They are sold to our customers in Iceland and the Faeroe Islands as an environmentally friendly solution to battle sea lice as they are an effective cleaner fish
