Benchmark Genetics is a global leader in aquaculture genetics. We are now seeking a Data Analytics & Product Performance Specialist to support the documentation and communication of product performance within our salmon portfolio.
In this role, you will collect, analyse, and interpret performance data from customers, R&D trials, internal breeding programmes, and external sources. You will translate complex biological and production data into clear, credible insights that support product development, customer decision-making, and value-based pricing.
Working closely with Product Marketing, R&D, Bioeconomics and Commercial teams, you will play a key part in shaping future product strategy and customer value propositions.
We are looking for someone with:
- MSc in aquaculture, genetics, biology, data science, or equivalent relevant background
- Demonstrated experience in data analytics, statistics, and data gathering
- Strong ability to work with analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI or similar tools
- Experience presenting technical results to internal and external audiences
- Strong advantage: familiarity with breeding, genetics, farm production data, or aquaculture trials
- Fluent in English; Norwegian language skills beneficial

- Comfortable working with complex datasets and drawing meaningful conclusions
- Structured, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required
